Volunteer
We
welcome applicants who would like to work
with us here for a period of three months
or more.
You will be provided with accommodation, all your meals and pocket money to cover living expenses. Duties will include gardening and general house keeping.
We are aiming this programme at gap-year students or people taking a career break.
This is an ideal opportunity to improve your knowledge of English and to develop a closer relationship with Father God.
Volunteers should be aged over 18 and are welcome from any country but will need a working knowledge of English.
Being a volunteer at Father's House Bala has been a great experience. It has been a chance to grow in the Father's love in the midst of beautiful surroundings and the everyday rhythm of working life.
It seems to be one of those places where the ups and even the downs of community life are used by Father to bring deeper healing to your heart...that has been my experience.
The food is great...there is a lot of laughter...there are deep conversations...and many chances to use and learn practical skills in different areas.
One of the things I have enjoyed most is being generous in our hospitality and creating a sense of "welcome" for the guests (both for Father's House Bala guests and the Glan y Gro bed and breakfast guests). They are generally very grateful and nearly always leave looking happy!
